Marcus Grace and Janice Griffiths have co-edited the latest issue of School Science Review https://www.ase.org.uk/resources/school-science-review/issue-381 . The theme is Science Education and Nature and it includes articles ranging from defining nature literacy, helping pupils to become citizen scientists, the use of biomimicry, forest bathing in Japan, and extracting tardigrades from mosses – there’s something for everyone!

MSHE colleagues have also contributed two papers to the issue:

Matt and Sam Weston: Engaging the disengaged with science and nature through learning science outdoors – a teacher’s perspective

Marcus Grace, Janice Griffiths & Carys Hughes: Nature literacy: rethinking how we teach about nature in secondary school science
