The EJEME project (E-textbook for Japanese and English Mathematics Education) is project part-funded by a Daiwa foundation small grant.

In this project, Professor Bokhove works with Professor Komatsu from the University of Tsukuba, Japan. We conduct an in-depth analysis of recent PISA 2022 data, focussing on technology use in Japanese and English mathematics classrooms. Based on this and prior literature, we co-create a prototypical digital mathematics book with mathematics teachers.
