Dr Andri Christodoulou took part in John Hansard’s Community Takeover launch on Saturday 8^th June. With Dr Jenny Baverstock from the School of Biological Sciences, they participated in the Growing Food in Urban Environments drop-in session organised by the Gallery. The drop-in session was an opportunity for the public to learn more about the Wild Citizens and Growing Wild Citizens work Andri, Jenny and Marcus have work on together. Jenny discussed where our food comes from, we talked with children about wildlife and gave out some wildflower seeds to grow at home. The John Hansard Gallery’s Community Takeover is taking place 8^th June – 7^th September 2024. They are hosting a range of vibrant and creative responses to food culture, wellbeing and sustainability and how it connects people of all ages and backgrounds.
